New Stoneware bread baker

A few months ago I ordered this covered stoneware bread baker. OMG, I love it. it makes FANTASTIC bread. My recipe takes 18 hours to make but well worth it. then again I'm a cooking/baking fanatic so the work means nothing to me.

I have a dough bulk fermenting now. Can't wait for dinner.

I have never baked bread with a cover on, Bakerman, doesn't it stop the crust firming?
