It is a shame she is leaving because it does mean the comedic duo will be no more. I know Mary is pursuing Roy but whilst Hayley is around there will be no romance between the two if ever!

I do love Roy and Hayley together as they are so well-suited.

I really hope they don't kill her off though, and they leave an open door for her to return, but how will Roy cope without her?

Mary is too exhuberant to be coupled with Roy's more placid nature, so I doubt that will happen; but who knows in soaps?

This is going to be an extremely sad departure of a very well-loved character.
