One flew over the cuckoos nest was on yesterday a really brilliant film and it hasn't aged one bit it is still shocking and well made. Silence of the Lambs was also on 'Anytime' yesterday and that was as good as ever because I suddenly realised I had not seen the ending.

Is it cheating if I say The Godfather parts 1/2/and 3
.. it has everything love, hate, loyalty, betrayal, birth and death. Superb acting, story, soundtrack, a masterpiece of cinema.

One great film which is on this Sunday on C4 is Stardust, if you have not seen it before do watch it, the cameo roles are great.


My fav film of all time which I have watched a lot is.......


Kill Bill vol 1.

Vol 2 is not a patch on the first but does tie up all lose ends

True Meg. In particular, I thought the expression of pain on the aging Michael Corleone's (Al Pacino) face when his daughter was shot was quite moving. We shouldn't have felt for a man who had dealt in death so much but it was hard not to. Great acting.

Woops.. Many great movies - but has to be "Naked" a Mike Leigh film. Mostly because I found the dialog extremely funny although its not meant to be funny at all

Sorry - just have to mention another film too - Withnail and I - by Bruce Robinson. Just loved that and have it on DVD - have watched it over and over again...

I have to agree with Miranda.
Despite having seen it dozens of times, whenever 'The Sound of Music' is on TV I have to watch it. The is a magnet attached to it that draws me there.
