Anthony Newley Song

I wonder could anyone help me find the TITLE of an Anthony Newley song of the early 60's, it's a comic song and may have been the B side of 'Strawberry Fair'. The opening words go like this: 'Woke up this morning in my usual lively way, looked out the window at another dreary day, feeling full of fun I threw the alarm clock at the cat, and going back to sleep again I thought that that was that.
It's something about a funny noise he keeps hearing, and I need the title to look it up in his music history (or whatever it's called).
PS. the grandchildren don't believe there are such words in a song.
