Screen love.

The first woman I fell in love with was Marilyn Monroe, I saw her in the film 'Some like it hot' and my heart was captured. Those hot lips and shapely hips left a lasting impression on a 14 year old boy. They don't make them like her anymore, God rest her soul.
Who did you fall in love with on the silver screen?.

Re: Screen love.

Not quite the same era as Maralyn Monroe, but I fell in love with Robert de Niro. I am still in love with that beautiful man He has improved with age and we have grown old together (at a distance of course ).

Excellent choice Aerolor (of a man), I think he is also one of the most talented actors still working today.

For me it was Rossanno Brazzi when I first saw him in South Pacific ...... especially when he sang "Some Enchanted Evening"!

I thought Ian McShane as a gypsy lad in Sky West and Crooked was a dream. Later it was was Lee Van Cleef and now it's Robert de Niro. I must like my men rough and ready?

Re: Screen love.

I cannot say I have ever fallen in love with a screen idol, lust perhaps??

Just bad timing-too young for Ingrid Bergman too old for Rachel Weisz and where was Kelly LeBrock at the right time??

Re: Screen love.

Doris Day was my first screen female that I was besotted with.
I have watched most of her films, I even have a lot of them on DVD and her records used to fill an old biscuit tin.

Re: Screen love.

I have never fallen in love with anyone on the TV. I have only been to the cinema about 5 times in my life as I don't enjoy the experience much.
