I guess it would be completely overdone with realistic CGI and be very, very scary but then it would be a different movie - "Tremors" hasn't got much in the way of a plot or effects but it has got humanity and humour with the occasional gore and fright .....

It'd be dreadful.

Tremors is one of those films that cannot be sympathetically recreated.

Films such as The War of the Worlds and The Day the Earth Stood Still are two prime examples of this.

The War of the Worlds films, both of them, made by Americans were rubbish.

I enjoyed the originals as a kid but the latest offerings(Tom Cruise and Keanu Reeves)were dreadful.
