No more Little Britain

So now they removed Little Britain from all internet platforms.

I loved that programme!

There is lots to be found on You Tube, not the full programmes, maybe one or two that are longer in duration but often up to five minutes. Worth just having a look for that 'fix' of that kind of humour. What makes it worse that it's been 'removed' (censored) is that it's the BBC too and who is it that charges us to receive programmes? They will be telling us how to think next! Oh, sorry they are already doing that!

For all those who like this humour, enjoy:

Easy answer to that one reg – whatever the 'do-gooders', who seem almost to be running (ruining) this country, see what they consider as 'wrong'!

Haven't been able to find the clip at the park, where Andy gets out of his wheelchair and gives the can throwing kid a good kicking.

Re: No more Little Britain

I am old enough, unfortunately, to recall a London musical called The Black & White Minstrel Show. In that singers / dancers etc. used stage make-up to 'black up' to play the part, all totally innocent, nothing wrong or deliberately racist in that. However, that practice was eventually deemed racist and stopped. Anyone these days, I would have thought, can see the way that was done, yet there was no intention for it to be deliberately racist in any way. Does that make sense to anyone on here?

Re: No more Little Britain

Walliams and Lucas have both said if they wrote it now they would remove the transvestites and tone down other bits.

However those that object to the wheelchair sketches are just being stupid...the whole point is that the poor carer is being taken for a ride by the cheating obnoxious patient. I can't see any wheelchair bound person objecting to that fictitious character.
