Yes, l think it did. l remember the Pallisers series, it was very good.
He also wrote Dr Thorne that was shown on ITV not long ago. I loved that too.

I looked through this forum TV & Film section for it and l can’t believe it was shown on ITV in March 2016! I thought it was more recent!!
The thread title was ‘New Drama’ started on 3rd March 2016 by ‘Patsy’.
Some members didn’t like it and switched off!
I loved it!!
