Lord Frost in charge again??

After stonewalling Barmier for months on behalf of Boris, only to
have Boris overturn all his good work in two hours of Boris personally
taking over the negotiations , and agreeing what amounts to a five
and a half year brexit extension, Frosty has been put back in charge
of negotiating with EU once again ??
Will Frosty be allowed to finish the job this time ??
Why are we STILL negotiating ? I thought we had a TRADE DEAL ?

Clearly BawJaws is a bumbling buffoon, who couldn't negotiate his way out of a paper bag.

Re: Lord Frost in charge again??

I always thought of the Brexit negotiations as an "off-line trade war" and this next phase will be the "on-line" version of it.

We need Frost to get this done, the EU are scared of him and know how he operates. Gove was utter garbage over Ireland and Boris was garbage over fishing.

Let's hope he has the free reign as a cabinet minister this time to throw some real weight behind it.

Hi

Lord Frost was supposed to be taking over Security.

He is now taking over Brexit and the EU from Gove.

He is still up against Barnier and Co who ran rings around him.

This is a nonsense.

Hi

I am, just too many unforseen problems.

We have the stupid outcome of our own Government advising companies to set up distribution centres in the EU to get round the problem.

The EU are collecting all taxes now, we are not even inspecting EU imports yet.

I would not give the EU a penny, I am annoyed where we are.

Well it would have been nice if we really did have a trade deal. Unfortunately, though, what arrangement we have with the EU is rather more than a trade deal.

Our 'deal' includes the continued EU interference in our sovereignty of Northern Ireland. It also includes their freedom to use our fishing areas subject to some nominal restrictions which fails to protect our maritime resources from overfishing.

On the other hand, the EU countries seem to be at liberty to impose other limitations which I was unaware of, such as banning British soil on construction equipment from entering N.I. and, even more petty, lorry drivers' sandwich lunches not being permitted entry into EU territory, presumably unless eaten beforehand!

Yes, we are being played for fools, which I think we are.

Certainly, Frosty should take over the job as Boris has, in my humble opinion, shown himself to be far too soft. He should do what he did before Boris backed down at the last minute and stand up against the Brussels bullies.

Either we are party to a true trade agreement without any of the strings presently attached, or we leave completely which is exactly what I was hoping for until just before the end of the year.
As I have said before, we don't need the EU. We are capable of creating our own trade agreements with the rest of the world. We owe the EU nothing.

I agree. If anything, the reverse was the case.

I believe they respect Frosty... or are even a little scared of him.

Not so, Swimmy!
We were on the point of exiting properly before Boris poked his oar
in, now we are worse off because Boris. needed a miracle last
minute " deal" in a rush !
The only option now is the opt out option !!
