Well until somebody sorts out why he did not receive the welcoming email that enables him to communicate.

I waited for one, but I never got that verification email. I just logged in and started posting a few hours after registering. It still has yet to show up.
I've done all I could to get verified. Changed my "Let mods email me" setting to yes, sent an email to the powers that be, checked every folder in my email for that elusive verification message , and still nothing.
It's probably the universe telling me to just go do something else.
Hi Plankton the email message facility you mention above is nothing to do with your verification email, it is a different thing entirely . You should send back the verification email before attempting to post onsite.

Hello Plankton it may be down to your email service provider, they sometimes hold things as spam .
The verification emails sent from here are automatic on registration .

Then, somehow it magically got through?
I had no idea gmail did all that. First time that's happened in 20 years.
