Yes they were .Lenny Henry’s ancestors came from Jamaica .
All black people in Jamaica are descended from slaves .
Jamaica was the last stop in the slave triangle .
All the most intransigent and unattractive slaves ended up there .
The mildest and best looking were sold first in Barbados.
