Anyone watch this last week C4 l think, on again tonight, I will watch it and record Top Gear.

Yes I really enjoyed this programme. Interested to see how they are going to do all that work for £20K though.

I'm just resurrecting this thread because I didn't want to start a new one on the same topic. Anyone else watching the repeats of this? They are showing the whole series on More 4 and it's a nice way to beat the Autumn blues.

I've been getting really hooked on this amazing series. I can't believe the ingenuity, creativity, skill and hard work of this fabulous couple. Angel is just such a visionary. What a talented lady. Dick makes it all happen. Amazing what love can do.

Great series AnnieS, couldn't help thinking though, as it was an out and out business proposition, the financing of it was not as simple as portrayed.

Angel Strawbridge,has also launched her own interior range,from bedding to curtains,lamp shades...very expensive IMO,

..I saw some of her range in Sainsburys.

I completely agree, also the timescales shown but still good viewing. I would love to own that building.

I've watched the series and in the beginning it's made out that they only have £20 grand to complete which is nonsense as the series continues you'll note her parents live in the converted barn and Dick is a well known TV personality and also has a large service pension. So they have the parents help .

Although I'm in awe at their talents . The chateau is wonderful .

I am slightly envious of their life style wish I had her choices and talent
