I had one from 18-28 years old. Simple loop in the left ear with a cross on it.
Took it out when I got my first management job and never put one in since. The hole is still there though and has not closed up.

When my son was about 15, he pierced one of his ears and wore an earring.

No I’m not too fond of men wearing earrings but it’s not my business or concern what others do. I try and mind my own business and try not to get overly concerned about what others do.
