Re: No stray dogs in Holland

Just the job for Greta Thunberg......

Can you imagine how much happier the world would be without stray dogs? Holland took the lead and saved them by finding them all a home. They are entirely changing dogs’ destinies and allowing them to have a life full of happiness and love. The government took specific action to accomplish this by implementing the PSVIR method (pick, sterilize, vaccinate, identify, and return). Thanks to that, in 2016, it became the first country to free these living creatures from the loneliness and terror of the streets. We want this idea to be copied around the rest of the planet.

We don’t exactly have stray dogs in the uk roaming the streets but there are hundreds in dog sanctuaries either rescued or given up by their owners .

... about time something was done about urban foxes. Is their freedom to roam the streets being use political one-up-man-ship by the anti hunting brigade? wouldn't surprise me. The snowflakes say they're such cute darlings. They are disgusting vermin.

No they aren’t .
The foxes have less and less areas to roam as we concrete over the countryside.
We don’t want children growing up not knowing what a fox looks like .
The main disgusting vermin are humans with their filthy habits .

Re: No stray dogs in Holland

Wasn't Amsterdam the dogshit capital of Europe at one time with irresponsible owners failing to clean up their dogs' mess? Will this round-up of strays cure the problem?

It's true, some humans are disgusting ... ie. not disposing of their baby's nappies properly, and the charming foxes knock over the bins, tear bags open and eat the sh1t.

Surely there are better ways for our children see what a fox looks like.

Ban disposable nappies - they are disgusting and non-environmentally friendly.

I agree.

But that doesn't change the fact that foxes are dirty rotten scavenger with no place in our (mine) urban environment.
