Re: Healthy footwear.

I hate slippers, I don't own any. I wear trainers with a zip front (Pavers) ideal for wearing in the house or going out to the bins or pegging out the washing.

My wife wears these Skechers indoors. She says they are light and comfortable with a cushioned sole. Available from most outlets.

I wear my Gortex hiking boots all the time. They are the most comfortable footwear I have ever had. I'd wear them to bed if my wife would let me.........

Around the house I'm barefoot but if I need to nip outside I slip my Crocs on, I keep them beside the back door.

I wear Crocs around the house, they are easy to keep clean, unlike regular slippers.

Re: Healthy footwear.

We both wear Crocs when travelling as they are light, easily washed and great for shower blocks when on sites. On the odd occasion we are back to bricks n mortar they are great for in the garden too.

Some of my slippers can be washed & I do if I particularly like them, but as I have so many most just get binned when they get grubby.
