Jer, my grandson that I live with, tells me he sees American eagles almost daily over the river. He is working, repairing gas lines right near the St Claire River but it is far south of our home. Maybe one day I will feel like the long drive down there to see for myself. I did see many eagles in Florida...



The nest is close by and was able to watch it off and on until the young left. In Florida the eagles nest in January.

Your Robins are very different from ours in the UK, but at least your Trefoils look the same. Two good captures, i like the second because of the eye contact.

A Tricolored Heron...I have seen one hold the wings up over their head to shade the water...I guess fish come to the shaded spot and lunch is there.

I think this is a Great Blue heron in a white color...scarce but they are sometimes all white
