Re: 6 Week Breathing Course

Deylon, back in my younger days I suffered terribly with my back. Seriously bad. If it went I’d be out of action for months is severe pain. They had me lined up for surgery to remove 3 discs and fuse my spine. I can tell you, hearing that when you are in your 20s is scary

What stopped that happening and has kept me upright ever since was a 6 week back fitness class run by the Physio department Like your one it was twice a week for two hours

What I learned there has kept me in good stead for the past 30 years

Whilst it’s a group , you get individual time and exercises that suit you

Go for it. You might even enjoy it I enjoyed mine

Re: 6 Week Breathing Course

Deylon, remember all those nights, when you were struggling to breath, in your special chair...... anything that helps you breath easier is worth trying, so give them a chance to help you.

You may be surprised at how much they can help!

Re: 6 Week Breathing Course

I do intend to go on this course, but I have other health conditions also which sometimes clash.,I was just filling in my August calendar & my weeks are taken up with different hospital/clinic dates,I had a message today to say my Oncologist wanted to see me tomorrow ???,but I didnt get the message untill PM & when I tried to ring his secretary back she wasnt avialable,so Ive had to leave it & hope I can contact her in the morning , there is no chance of me getting transport there at such short notice & I cant get there on my own
