I made one of these five years ago just to prove to myself I could do it.

It's not very good, the camera was hand held in my left hand, I took half a dozen shots and google photos did the rest.

The only animated gif I've made myself is the very simple one shown below. I always meant to make some better ones but never have. There are some very good ones around though.

.... the same as any other image ... click on the yellow square that looks like a postage stamp, above the message reply box and paste in the url ..... will end in .gif instead of the usual .jpeg
