Re: MPs to vote on Brexit

What is all the fuss about ? No one is saying we will/ will not leave the EU yet, it can go either way. We wanted our parliament to decide on whats best for our Country instead of the EU ,now thats what they are doing , IF we leave the EU its got to be legal & binding, no nasty surprises.Maybe it would be best if we had another vote, many did not vote in the last one, many voted for /against but wished they hadnt.Either way the 'losing ' side must accept with good grace

We've already have had a vote and a clear majority voted to leave. Why on earth should we have another? (Unless, of course it is to keep on voting till we cantankerous plebs toe the EU/Political elite line). There is already a losing side and they have been (and continue to be) totally graceless about their political defeat!

Oh no, not another one. I've heard enough of people suggesting that we should have another Brexit referendum because they didn't like the outcome of the first one.

I agree, though, that the losing side should accept with good grace, rather than trying to prevent the stated will of the people of this country by bringing in court cases.

Re: MPs to vote on Brexit

They just don't get it, do they?

Thanks to the various mistakes, scandals, and cover - ups the police, bankers, social services, NHS bosses, MPs and all the rest of those in charge of running the country were already held in low esteem - not to mention the childish behaviour that is Prime Minister's Questions
I's a widely held observation that The Referendum was not just a verdict on the EU, it was also an opportunity to give the Establishment a kicking

Well, the result was to leave the EU, and the Establishment clearly don't like it
They have been fighting tooth and nail ever since to reverse, delay, subvert, and generally interfere with Brexit

Can't they see that it is just that sort of spoiled brat behaviour that led to the Referendum result in the first place?
I certainly have no respect now for Labour, Lib-Dem, or the rest of the Remoaners

Re: MPs to vote on Brexit

Two option for TM, have the decision overturned in The High Court which apparently has a good chance of succeeding, or go to the country and announce another General Election, something which JC definitely does not want.
