Exactly. Taking the knee was a sign of weakness. The cops need to go in and go in hard. Pull out the ringleaders and most vocal - it is they that foment the situation. Prosecute them to the full extent of the law and give them long prison sentences.

Muddy, I agree about protection for the police dogs.
The dogs who search in fire remains have boots, so why not these dogs.
The dogs should all be issued with stab vests too. So should the horses.
