Good morning Wednesday.

Good morning everybody.

I'm out walking with my friend Chris today in the Shining Cliff woods at Ambergate Derbys.
That was the place I slipped & broke my ankle a few years ago so reminder to self to watch where I'm walking!!

Have a good day all.

Re: Good morning Wednesday.

Good morning all, very mild here again and another good forecast with a sunny afternoon, luvverly...

Just another pottering around day, the raspberries are coming towards the end now and I have already cut down the blackberries after a pretty decent crop, with just a few brussel plants left now plus the carrots and parsnips... so starting to feel like autumn...

Have a good day everyone

Re: Good morning Wednesday.

Good morning everyone a fine start and mild.

I have just ordered some new raspberry canes going for autumn fruiting ones this time . I am having a move around in the raised beds and will switch the runner bean and raspberry plots for next year .

I want to fix some new draught excluder around the front door
and cut my hair this morning. I was going to venture out to the hairdresser but a local restaurant one of my favourites have staff and a customer who have tested positive for C19 so it is alive and well in the local community so I will stick to doing my hair myself for now.

Enjoy your day

Re: Good morning Wednesday.

Evening all... overcast and cold today. It was warmer at 1am than at noon (18' compared to 17'), on the bright side there was a couple of mm of rain overnight (always welcome).

Hardly bothered to go out today except for a trip to the shops and the dentist, far too cold. Looking forward to the weekend when temperatures are back in the 20s.

Take care.

Hi Meg, I have grown autumn canes for many years now, a variety called "Joan J", which is a heavy cropper producing large fruits of good flavour. The great thing though that I also like about autumn fruiting canes is that they are cut back to the ground after fruiting so they are never a problem over the winter months, while summer canes have to be fully supported and tied in...

Good morning all a mild day which should dry the washing already out on the line.

Pottering around indoors and outdoors with little jobs that need to be done.

Enjoy your day everyone folks
