Re: Your Favourite Takeaway

Hmmmm - exceedingly difficult question as I have four (yes FOUR Indian Take-aways, THREE Chinese take-aways, FIVE pizza restaurants and a couple of Kebab houses all within a 500 metres radius of where I now sit.

Yes, mine's fish 'n' chips, too. Not into takeaways as such but have always loved a good crispy cod and squishy well cooked chips, mmm, with salt and vinegar, of course. Oh and mushy peas slapped on top...

Re: Your Favourite Takeaway

I rarely have a takeaway, but I do love fish n chips from the Chippy, and it has to be a Tandoori mixed Grill from the Indian takeaway, with spicy HOT sauce and a big nan bread to mop it all up with....luvly jubly ;~)

Ooooh yes. I remember when they were allowed to stick their thumb in the top so they could add more delicious gravy. Imagine them doing that today. They would be closed down faster than they could fry a Mars bar..

Re: Your Favourite Takeaway

Chicken Madras with Pilau rice and a couple of poppadoms.
I just wish that local takeaways opened at lunch time when we want to eat.
Why do they all think people only want to eat after 5 PM !!
