Re: Smart TVs

Does it need the Internet Biffo?
Is it simple to set up and use? And how does it connect to your tv?
Do you need to leave it permanently on standby? I read somewhere that if you switch them off you then have to re program again?
Sorry........for so many questions!

Re: Smart TVs

The humax goes between the aerial and the TV.
We have the TV's aerial plugged in to the humax
'aerial out' socket, and an hdmi cable between
the two.

The TV can operate as it did before, plus on the
TV menu it can be switched to the humax hdmi
input, which is where we leave it.

The humax can be used to switch channels, plus
it can record up to two channels at once, having
selected programmes in advance.

There is also pause and rewind on the watched
channel.

Thank you Biffo, that is really helpful, I think it is probably my best option.
