We have 7 active plants, France has 17. What's to stop France having an accident that affects us? Although it's forty years since they did and 34 years since the most serious accident this side of the planet - Chernobyl.

Even more miners suffered from ill health and early death mainly through breathing in coal dust throughout their working lives. Of course, these things were considered acceptable, or at least unavoidable in those days.
