Those who had to give up children for adoption, some of the children who were adopted. Those who still lived in a family environment but were ill treated either mentally or physically, and that is still going on today.

Even worse was when parents would sell their children (boys included) into the sex trade. It might do well for Ministers to think what extent people go to when they feel desperate enough.
