Although I love the Autumn and don't mind the winter, it's sad to say goodbye to the summer and the warmer weather when I can sit out in the sun and doss about in my shorts all day.
The neighbours think I'm quite odd sitting out in my shorts and tee shirt in the winter.....

Thursday started very dark this morning, so dark, that in future I'm going to have to set off a bit later for my runs. It also started cold, so for the first time this year I had to root out my warm running top. something that's usually reserved for December!

I managed to get five miles round my six mile road route before the rain came down. I did witness the most beautiful sunrise though as it crept above the horizon and disappeared into the low clouds. I didn't realise just how many red's there were....

Another poor time though, and it felt like I was running the last six miles of my worst marathon. Come to think about it, I don't think there was a worst marathon!...

I had an enjoyable, but steady eight mile run on sunday..



And this was followed by a 7.6 mile walk yesterday...
The distance can be read in the bottom right corner of my GPS.



So it was another steady five miles this morning with yesterday's walk still in my legs. Nice run though, but I always enjoy running out in the country at this time of year.

So as September comes to a close (rest day tomorrow) my yearly mileage stands at 813.2 with three months left.....It looks like I should be able to break the thousand mile target again this year.

A noticeable drop in performance again this year, and even my watch is feeling the pressure. Strap has almost bust!
This will be my last report for a while, but rest assured that running will continue like clockwork, and should anything noteworthy happen, you will find it in Bob's Bits.....

29763 paces today Foxy just less than the 30000 target, maybe I'll do the couple of hundred up and down the stairs, just for the say so.
