2012 - End of days ?

Its widely believed the world as we know it will end on 21st December 2012, . . the Mayan Indians calender also ends at this time, . . also Nostradamus who predicted WW1 and WW2 and also the recent Iraq war came to the same conclusion.

As to what form the end will take is debatable, . . it could mean a massive radiation surge from outer space due to the Galactic alignment or some other simple catastrophe like a plague that wipes out all bee life, bees are in decline just now, this would mean that plants would not reproduce resulting in famine.

Noooo! . . would I do such a thing ? . . however, forewarned is forearmed, . . with all the unrest and upheaval due to political and climate changes plus the fact that many species are in decline maybe the planet needs a clean out.

If America stopped all food exports 100 countries would starve, . . 500 million Africans would die of starvation, if the bees disappeared 50% of plants would die out due to not being pollinated.

Sheesh, . . it's worrying aint it.

TBH I do worry more about what our future generations will have to face, I don't envy them at all

Unfortunately, there is not a damn thing we can do about it, however many eco light bulbs we use, or however careful we are about recycling.

Life is very short, so make the most of it.

The Mayan calendar is in cycles of 5,200 years, this present cycle we're in ends on 21st December 2012, the last cycle obviously ended 5,200 years ago and geologists have found evidence high in the Peruvian Andes ice caps of a catastrophic event which happened at that time.

The Mayans foretold of massive floods just before 2012, . . they foretold the Tsunami that hit Indonesia a few years ago, . . all this evidence is carved on stone tablets which are in Berlin, . . Nostrodamus also foretold of impending doom at or near 2012.
