Re: Over 50's Scotland (Part 2)

Hi Myra glad your wee mum had a good lunch and a blether and a tour of Mauchline. Hope the weather is dry for your walk tomorrow. Jean is in the High Dependpendcy Unit at the Southern, her nephew phoned and the doctors are satisfied with her ops, but she has a few more to get in the next few days. They also found a fracture at the base of her skull and her ribs on the right hand side are also fractured.

I know she will Jess. God love her. She's a lovely gentle person.

Wonder what the weather is forecast for this weekend? Hoping to go out with the walkers tomorrow.

Re: Over 50's Scotland (Part 2)

So sad about Jean, but she is getting the best care and attention, especially with all the new hospital facilities at the new hospital, cant quite remember what they are calling it lol!!!

Well that's me all packed up again, and waiting for the off in the morning, but just a quick visit, fly down tomorrow and home on Monday, hope the weather is kind to us, as there is a BBQ for about 50 on Sunday, Neil has a fair size garden with two big gazebo things that he has borrowed so we should be ok.
Hope you all have a good weekend, and you manage out on your walk tomorrow Myra.

Re: Over 50's Scotland (Part 2)

hello girls. Jess you must be very worried about Jean, but she is in expert hands now at the hospital along with her family and friends around her. Myra I think the weather is mixed tomorrow so hopefully you won't catch any showers. Where is your route tomorrow? Rona I am sure the procedure today was very unpleasant but you'll be glad it's over. Have a great weekend away and Chloe will be in for loads of cuddles I'm sure. Well it's Friday at last so its feet up and a glass of wine for me. I am off to Perth tomorrow for the day as I have a friend there (more wine )

Morning girls. Lovely here at the moment.

It's The Greenock Cut today. It was my first ever walk with the group. Finishes at Wemyss Bay.

Hope you all have a lovely day and we'll catch up later
