I too dont think next year will be any better than this year, with more people unemployed, if we can all survive next year then things will start to pick up a bit more.

I don't think things are going to be good for us in this country now they've found oil in the Falklands, it's going to cause alot of trouble.

I look for our economy in America to improve greatly with unemployment continuing its fall.

I see us getting out of Afghanistan and staying out of other's business for the year.

I see president Obama being re-elected. The fools in the Republican party don't have a real candidate to compete with an incumbent president. I'm voting for Obama, again.

Most people over here think that he needs Europe to be sorted so trade with USA can get going again and the American economy picks up.

If that is true can you get him to pop over and bang a few heads together 'cos it ain't gonna get sorted anytime soon IMO.

As Graham says, the end of the world is foretold on 21 December 2012 because that's when the Mayan calendar comes to a close, and the predictions come from there.

Seriously, I have to agree with most of what others have said, in that life will get harder and harder, instead of easier, despite this so-called Age of Technology.

All I am looking forward to is hanging up my work jacket so I just hope I make it to retirement in 2019 a way to go yet as the goverment keep deciding to move the goalposts I suppose I am wishing my life away but I too like the simple things in life I am looking forward to my daughters (only child) wedding in 2014 so 2012 is just another stepping stone in life.. Enjoy every minute and don't let them get you down .....
