Such nice things listed.

1. Still being able to surf and run.
2. Dogs.
3. An ever-growing appreciation, awe, and curiosity that seemingly everything is miraculous (a toddler learning to talk, trees, cellular transport, the spider weaving a complicated web on the back patio).

I am cheerful because l am still alive.
Cheerful because my brain seems to be ok....l think?
Most of all.. Cheerful because l have a lovely family who make me laugh so much.
