This "breaking the law" position the principled left have over our national right to protect our own union is laughable.
Trump tore up the Paris Agreement - the USA economy did quite well out of that.

I don't care what the EU should do.
We can accuse them of several things in return, as have been mentioned here before.
let's ignore them just as France did when it refused to lift the beef ban until one year after all other member states did, despite the commission taking them to court and they being fined 100,000 euros a day until they lifted it.
Of course, it ended up with France not paying a single euro in fines because of excuses.
So to hell with the EU.
