Re: Loosing stuff

I misplace things all the time , it's so frustrating.
My specs are top of the list

I even lose clothes in my wardrobe, I think they hide when they think I am taking them out then they appear again later.
Grrrrr

Re: Loosing stuff

It's never worth totally muting a mobile phone, for just this reason. I never mute mine (though I do use the Do Not Disturb function at night) and nowadays I just tell Alexa to find my phone and she rings it for me. No landline needed any more.

Oh, my watch can find my phone too, as I only just remembered.

Same here.

Carol, have you looked in your dressing gown pocket, and the car?
If/when you find it, you'd best take it off silent too.

P.S. Daft question perhaps, but you haven't left it on charge somewhere have you?

Re: Loosing stuff

I put it on silent when I go to bed and then sometimes forget to turn the sound on.

It's not in the car or any pockets!!

Still searching...

Have you been visiting and left it at someone's house?
Or a cafe if you've stopped for a coffee?
Or has Tony put it 'somewhere safe?'
Garden, or shed?

Re: Loosing stuff

Phew that panic over. It's been driving me mad.

It just turned up in Tony's coat pocket. I'd asked him to carry it for me when we went a walk yesterday.

We're just going another walk now - that's how I found it!!

I get so mad at myself because I do things like this on a regular basis. I spent almost two hours this morning turning the house upside down!!

Even on silent, if the place/room is dark, your mobile phone will light up when ringing. Go in each darkened room, call your number and see if you can locate the light.
