Looking at it a different way round, I didn't like John Lennon alive or dead, because of the way he behaved, even though he didn't commit crimes and I wouldn't listen to his music now. I can't understand how people revere his work.Re: Does it matter?
While I may stop liking the person their work is not changed so if I liked it before I would still like it. If I didn't I would wonder if I really liked it previously or if I had allowed my like of the person to cloud my judgement. So far that has only happened with 2 people Gary Glitter and Michael Jackson.Re: Does it matter?

If somebody has a talent and you appreciate their work, why should any other part of their life change your opinions of that work. Their talent still exists even if they have committed murder or molested children.Re: Does it matter?
