They will eventually, assuming we can't escape from the EU.

When they discover that they can't vote against an authority whose intents they disagree with.

When their young are conscripted into the EU Army and sent to fight for something they disagree with!

There was no conscription in the Iraq war - well, not on our side.

I suspect a cure for the haemorrhaging youth unemployment figures in the EU would be to conscript them into the EU army. They could then get paid by Germany and France to sit around while they wait for the 27 to argue over who to go to war with, who to defend and who gets to command the troops.

Well, we all know Bercows view on Brexit! But I blame Maybot and her ridiculous general election, resulting in a hung Parliament. That gave the speaker more power, power he now has to sail along with the majority of his Remain supporting MP’s. He is so in love with the Labour Party it is a fact that he does not have to allow the government to govern! He must also be thoroughly enjoying giving pro-EU MP’s leeway when it comes to voting in favour against Brexit, such as allowing an amendment by Dominic Grieve to a government business of the House motion.
Andrea Leadsom, as Commons leader, was spitting feathers, but could do nothing.

The man is a national disgrace, but then the House of Commons is a joke anyway.

A rather inciting post. I may have found one of your forebears in a picture.

Well, I think nothing is going to change.

Bercow will no doubt remain in his position of dictator at least until the next general election.

In the meantime, he will oppose anything the government (such as it is) tries to do and, as you say, will support Labour and oppose Brexit as much as he can.

Unless something happens in the meantime - perhaps an early GE - we shall quite possibly remain in the EU until then, with Bercow and the other remainers ensuring that we do.

Ideally, sooner or later, when the GE is called things might change. Even so, that will depend upon how we vote, and we still have the democratic right to vote for a government even if the two main parties will continue to do what they feel is best for them.

If people have had enough by then and, by some miracle, the Brexit Party is elected with a working majority, we may then achieve what 17.4 million people voted for.

Unfortunately, I have little confidence in our voters. There are still many who, despite all the evidence, vote for parties like Labour, the Limp Dems and the SNP.

I suppose what will be, will be. We get what we deserve, except most of us at the moment won't deserve a Labour-Limp Dem coalition!

Notwithstanding his apparent 'independence' - it seems that everyone has forgotten that John Bercow is (or was) a paid up member of the scumbag 'nasty party' !!!

Hi

Parliament is an essential part of the Democratic process, it is there to keep a check on Government.

Like him or not, he is doing his job.

Next time round we could well get Corbyn.
