Good evening everybody. Hi Baz, good to see you posting. Really warm here today and they stopped the ferry waiting time for cars one hour passengers about the same. Been out in the garden today tidying it up, will water the plants later.

Morning All, Sitting outside the Leisure Centre waiting for a pal who's decided to join me for a swim this morning. Then it's shopping for me and a late-ish walk for the dog. Looks like it may brighten up so I can get into the garden after lunch. May I saw on the News of Andy Murray's win, just what he needed to set him up on his return, but I'm not into watching sport of any kind.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, what a beautiful morning it is, must buy some different weedkiller, this one I'm using seems to be feeding the weeds instead of killing them..

Good morning everybody. Didn't watch the tennis yesterday, but glad that Murray won his match. Sun is shining and I'm off to the hairdressers shortly. A bit of gardening and then sit in the sun for a wee while.

Good morning each, and it's gonna be a scorcher here in Lanarkshire later,so I'll be going into hiding in the Afternoon

Had a set of telescopic loppers delivered from Argos first thing this morning,so I've been busy lopping branches from the trees, and getting rid of a couple of large shrubs which were dying,so that's My lot for the day...out to the lounger with a cuppa and a couple of well earned choccie biscuits...have a good one Folks and remember the suncream.x

Paula, I stopped buying weed killer years ago as it was useless and far too expensive, I now make my own and it works.
2 bottles white vinegar.
Pack of Table Salt.
Washing up liquid.
Plastic Funnel.
Large plastic bottle.

Get an empty bottle that had diluting juice in it, rinse it out and make a hole in the screw cap.
I buy 2 bottles of WHITE vinegar, pour 1 into your juice bottle, add 4 tablespoons of table salt. pour the other bottle of vinegar in and add a large-ish squeeze of washing up liquid. Screw top back on and up end the bottle a couple of times to mix it all together. Then squirt the weeds and by the next day most of them will be almost dead. Any stubborn ones may need another squirt. But I can assure you IT WILL WORK.
