However we will lose passporting rights into the EU so trade from the UK will diminish, increasing the deficit . Yes we could buy elsewhere but that may come at the price of lowering our standards and a flood of cheap imports could damage our own manufacturers and reduce our manufacturing capacity

Yes we pay a fee and yes we get less back directly than we pay in. However the huge financial benefit we get from being a member, particularly from passporting of services makes our membership fee worth paying

How will the fishing industry be renewed when we have sold off most of the lucrative licenses to foreign interests and rely on exporting what we do catch to Europe which will now be subject to tariffs

How will we control immigration when we have failed to do so with countries outside the EU where we do have absolute control

Just a suggestion. Perhaps you shouldn't formulate your answers as rethorical questions. Leavers, and they are in a disproportionate majority on this forum, have no understanding of that concept.

These types of leading questions do not offer a good platform for debate........even though that is what the questioner claims to be doing.

The truth is the questionner is having a rant and the intended targets of that rant will generally not rise to the bait.

I hate to bust your condescending myth, Solly, but we Leaver voters have been subject to these sorts of vitriolic questions for over 3 years now and know full well what the true intention of the rhetorical question is.

It's not to seek answers but to berate opponents.

Answers to what?

We're leaving the EU. That was our choice and we are happy with our choice.

You're the ones with the issues and you're the ones that need to explain your refusal to keep your side of the democratic contract...........Losers consent.

You haven't explained that and untilyou adequately explain that............without the Project Fear Bollox, you deserve all the contempt that comes your way.

Contrary to what you may think, I have no say or influence in whether parliament determines to leave the EU or not

I as an individual am entitled to disagree with leaving the EU ad indeed Eurosceptics we entitled to disagree with membership of the EU

Furthermore, there is no contract between those who voted in a referendum therefore there is nothing to explain

Given the lack of answers it would seem that neither you or others can offer any reasoned arguments for leaving other than the same tired old sound bites and you throwing your toys out of your pram like a spoiled brat having a tantrum

I hate to disapoint you son, but not any time soon. If you get lucky it will be 31 januari 2020, but more likely, you will still be a proud member of the EU on the day you die.

Bizarre

There will be a hard border if there is a no deal Brexit. Goods have to be checked. Lorries have to be checked for illegal items / refugees etc that can only be carried out by human beings. A hard border also completely rips up the Good Friday Agreement which is the very foundation of peace in Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland border counties. The IRA are going to kick off and people will die.

I hope at least one person can read this and just accept that this is how it will be with a No-Deal Brexit and stop believing the crap coming from some leavers.

Welcome to the world of leavers. The only leavers that seem to make any sense are the ones who know and agree with what you are saying but voted to leave because it is better for them personally. They usually stand to make a shit load of money by leaving.

The other leave voters were duped, and so they don't have answers other than slogans like 'leave means leave' and 'you lost, get over it'.

Yup. Leavers are going to go bat shit crazy when they begin to realise what Solly has posted above is true.
