You can keep quoting figures most of which Tory ministers banded about, it makes no difference they are in a weaker position than they were before June eight.

Is that not a fact.
I never said they were not in a weak position. My point was, despite you're spinning if you care to check you will find the facts I gave more or less correct. Neither are they just quoted by Conservatives but by all the statisticians. As I said check it out.

Re: "But You Still Lost"

Hi

We are seeing the very worst of British Politics at the moment.

A self destruct course that needs, somehow, to change.

We have the biggest event since WW2 less than two years away, Brexit.

It is being supervised by a Government which is so divided that it cannot even agree what type of Brexit it wants.

We have a Prime Minister who is generally acknowledged to be the worst ever Home Secretary.

She has tunnel vision and is capable of taking appalling decisions, witness her disastrous Election campaign, throwing away a huge advantage by her tactics.

If she cannot even get a decisive win against someone like Corbyn, she will be eaten alive by the likes of Merkel, Macron and Juncker.

On the other side we have Corbyn and the very dangerous people behind him.

People who will promise everything with absolutely no chance of paying for it, who are promoting vast civil unrest to get themselves into power, who are using the Grenfell tragedy to stir up unrest, blaming it all on the current Government, when it is the result of successive governments pratting about.

I do despair of our Politicians, we deserve better.

I think we all lost, we just haven't realised it yet, or some don't want to admit it.

This.

I had a bit of faith in TM at first. I thought she may be another Maggie. Sadly not it seems.

I also could not believe her election campaign - like it was designed to lose votes it was so bad. She needs either a good kick up the backside herself, or sack her advisers. In saying that, despite what her advisers may have been telling her, if she had half a brain she still would have seen her campaign was crap.

Re: "But You Still Lost"

Is the electorate really unable to make a sentence involving the words "nose", "spite" and "face"? On the one hand, those that voted to leave gave TM a mandate, and yet the same electorate concluded that we're not sure.

Ultimately, the UK populace failed to consider the micro effects of the macro decision, significantly due to the facts that our political leaders/advisers and purported media specialists failed to provide us with the day to day potential consequences.

I used to enjoy reading Christopher Booker's Sunday Telegraph's comments (until it became financially subscribable!) and even purchased and read a book by him and Dr Richard North about the EU project. Since the referendum, he seems particularly adept at describing how Brexit is far more complicated than he originally suggested and blames MPs for their naivety. Well, thanks very much. It might have been an idea to point these things out beforehand.
