Tried a decoy heron? Keeps them away and the cats - but the fish might end up traumatised....

You could start a new kind of sport. Heron v piranhas. My bet would be on the heron, he'd grab 'em and stab 'em before they even knew he was there!

Why not get a few tadpoles and have a wildlife pond instead . There will be plenty very soon
