Sue darlin' : BREAD PUDDING:

Ingredients:

8 - 10 slices of bread ripped into small pieces
1/2 Pt fresh orange juice
1 Tblsp marmalade
2 eggs
4 0z dark muscavado sugar
4 oz dried mixed fruit
cinnamon
Allspice
Mixed spice.

METHOD

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly into a gloopy mess. Empty into a shallow oven proof dish and place into a warm (180 oC) oven and cook for approx 1 Hr.
Remove from oven and allow to cool. When cool decorate with a spoonful of whiten granulated sugar sprinkled over pudding.

Annie darlin' - Muscavado sugar comes in two different types a light and dark. They're both like Demarara sugar but a lot finer grains.

Ok - it's likely what we call brown sugar then. The dark has molasses.
