I have to admit, beneath my grumpy bah humbug exterior I do like getting the house all "Christmasized"

I'm a Christian (as is my wife and entire family) so there is the religious side to it too.

I have a dose of 'Bah humbugs'. Its all money and hassle I could do without. I am even asking to work over Christmas. I'm fedup with it already and we're still two months away.

I am not doing Christmas this year I haven't been well and can't be bothered.
A few bits for the grandchildren, a few cards and that's it for me.

Bah Humbug here too. All the grandchildren are grown up now (youngest is 16) so they all only want money. We take it in turns going up to my daughters with her MIL & it's their turn this year so it will be just the two of us at home. Just like a normal day really I would prefer to pack a few butties & a flask & go out somewhere for a nice walk all day but Oh wont

Not really. son in law,s sister & her family go as well so she's not got room for all of us & OH is a misery & doesn't get on with them very well. It's not worth the hassle.
