Recent outing in the Lakes

As it was such a beautiful day yesterday and my diary was clear, myself and Bonnie had a couple of little walks in the Lakes. First stop was Bassenthwaite which was very foggy and there was no sign of Skiddaw, so we did a little walk by the lake and waited for it to clear.

Next stop was near the footpath to Catbells where we had a little wander in some woods along the shores of Derwentwater.

Superb photos yet again, Marian. Bonnie looks as if she was having a grand time, but what's that black thing in the water in the last photo?

Great pictures Marian, they show the lake district for what it is, a credit to Mother Nature.

Thanks for sharing them.

That's right Meg, the Lakes are photogenic all year round, the light and weather is constantly changing.

Janela - Thanks also for your comments, glad you like the first one
