Thanks again everybody.

Today, for the very first time this year I've managed to eat a proper dinner. I still have a cough & aching ribs and feel so dreadfully tired but it's good to be eating again.

I think I might have turned the corner..

Sounds like it Carol If it is like mine was, the cough will linger for a good while yet, but if you are eating again, at least that is a good sign at last.
These wretched things will gradually go when they are ready and not before in my experience.
