This one is quite old and reminds me of London. My grandfather was just like Bud Flanagan - same features, build, voice, mannerisms - everything. He used to sing this song to me when I was little.

Oh yes, My Grandad used to sing us that as well. What a lovely memory you brought back.

Wasn't it Bud Flanagan who sung "Underneath the Ivy" as well?

I remember "Up the wooden Hill to Bedfordshire" by Vera Lynn. On 78's my Grand-Father had.

Usually find myself singing along to " Don't sit under the apple tree", or "Chattanooga choo choo", or " Pennsylvania 6-5000", by Glen Miller.
