Thanks for the update, Alicat. Hope the lymphoedema nurse is helpful - I'm sure she/he will be. Get those legs up when you can!

Thanks Orangutan The condition can be brought on by having gynecological surgery, having you're ovaries out and if you've had cancer, so I guess that's why I've suddenly got it. It's not a common thing.

I hope you are soon free of all the problems Alicat. There are often irritating and annoying problems after invasive surgery, everyone reacts differently but once your body has fully recovered from the trauma and with the right treatment I'm sure all will be well again. I'm sure your mind will be put at rest after seeing your consultant, take it easy and give your body the time it needs to recover properly. Best wishes and good luck.
