He sounds like a total tosser. But those other guys are just another violent gang of thugs. Absolutely nothing more. We saw a doco not long ago on these places in Britain. Luton was it?..We could not believe it. Gangs of blokes dressed in white with skull caps roaming around telling women to cover up and go home because they were alone!.."This is Muslim area..get out slut!" they were saying. What has brought the UK to this?..I mean we have areas in inner western Sydney that are very heavily populated with Muslims both Shiite and Sunni. MOsques everywhere, Halal food shops, madrassas, the lot. THere is occasional trouble that is blown up and sensationalised by the press but only because it's so rare. Both sides make a big deal out of nothing usually but most of the time everybody tolerates everybody else. Regardless of race or religion the thing they they are ALL proud of is being Australian. That comes first. What is it with theses areas of the UK?..Just curious why these people are encouraged/ allowed to take things so far. THey are living in ENGLAND.. Not the middle east. I just don't get it. The law should prevail. We have the Middle East Crime squad here that target these kind of people. Arabic speaking cops and detectives that can deal with these A holes. I thought yoU had the same. Maybe I have it wrong. Please forgive me if I do.

He seemed sober to me Mups and initially was quite reluctant to join in a conversation but when he got started, it was all a bit angry. For example - I asked if they were staying locally (they were obviously tourists), and instead of naming the hotel, he said they were staying in town and pointed in the wrong direction!!
Not the normal friendly kind of tourist we usually get down here - made me feel very uncomfortable!

Not all Muslims are like that here Keezoy but we do have areas where it's not safe. I'm not sure how come people are like that but it's true a lot of folks come to the UK for what we offer and not to be part of our society...they still consider themselves Pakistani or whatever.

I feel strongly that if nothing is done about this, it can only get worse and we should be voicing our opinions and putting pressure on our MP's.

Lindy some men are like that...I stayed with a pal once in Devon I had a terrible argument with a man in a pub who was so insulting about northerners ...he apologised in the end but some men in particular like the sound of their own voices after a drink or two.

There have always been arguments about Turf, not much point nowadays, not now so much of it is plastic.
