Re: and my next job is?????

I too made a special effort this morning to clear up all the leaves on my lawn. In the Realspeed spirit I got on my hands and knees to get a photo of them all.

We had a few mm of rain too so the brown grass might turn to green, on the downside the damn stuff might grow and I will have to get the mower out.

Bruce
Without that little blower clearing up this amount would be an all day job. One problem I solved was blowing leaves out from the flower beds onto the grass. the blower only has a straight attachment. So what I did was use a right angle piece of drain pipe and tape it to the end. Heath Robinson yes but it works, one side of the angle pipe fits inside nicely and gets taped up.
Not only do we have 4 large oak trees in out garden but neighbours also have oak trees close to our fence, so we get more leaves than our fair share.

Annoying thing is it is impossible to do anything at the moment this wind is quite strong

Yesterday evening a a southerly buster went through leaving 30000 homes without power in Sydney.

Never fear, your intrepid gardener was out this morning rake and camera in hand to collect the wind blown debris.

What a bounteous harvest! No neighbours were annoyed during the collection of this detritus and no sign of the lawn turning green (thank gawd). It's all go on the gardening front.

Dont you have deciduous trees in ozzie Brucy? Or is it only your
your area with no leaves?
