Re: Tomatoes.

We've now picked the ripe Tomatoes twice and we are still knee-deep in Cherry Tomatoes!

We've given away about 1 kilo and have 2 kilos in the fridge with about 1 kilo still on the bushes - that's a lot of Cherry Tomatoes for two.

We are going to roast a lot and make Roast Tomato Soup, which we will freeze for later.

Best year for some time on the tomatoes and I've dug out my Main crop Spuds early because the foliage started dying back so we've got about 6 kilos of spuds too now with 5 King Edward plants still to crop.

Makes up a bit for the loss of the cucumber and we still have carrots and parsnips yet.

Red Onions were crap again so we won't bother with them again now but the beetroot is still going - so slow but I'm still hoping we will get at least one meal out of them! stevmk2
