It's not been a bad day here, quite warm and dry which compared to yesterdays washout is a relief.
I think we have colder days to come as the week goes on.

Just after 10 am here, and the temp's at -8. It has stopped snowing for now! So I get to look at all the icicles hanging from the eaves!
Maybe Jamie could make a detour up north here, and spread some of that warmth around!!

It has been almost dark here for most of the day so depressing...

Still I shouldn't grumble, I went to Waitrose this morning and the car parked next to mine was covered in snow. The person only lives two miles away on the Herefordshire side of the hills and they had 6 inches of snow last night which fortunately fell as rain here.

The metal railings at the end of the road are down again, they have only been up three weeks after the last mishap.
Someone had a lucky escape, their car was impaled with the railing going through the engine compartment.

Definitely #2!! What a nice porch, love the flowers, especially the iris; I'm an iris fan.
