Good morning to you all, snowing here at the moment and minus 1 deg. ...

The snow has arrived a little earlier than forecast (surprise surprise), and we were hoping to have a run out somewhere today, but now we're not planning on going anywhere soon..

I know that bridge Alan, we had a picnic in that field last July when we were staying near Bolton Abbey..

We have snow as well and temperature is minus 7 C but at least the sun is out

The day will comprise of a bit of tidying in the workshop and maybe winterising of tools to prevent the dreaded rust. I don't go in there much during the winter and it's amazing how surface rust builds so quickly and as the old saying goes 'prevention is better than cure' somehow that doesn't sound right but you know what I mean

Then lunch and walkies for the doggies, not that Bara can go far now that she's getting old, it seems to have come on so suddenly but of course it's been a couple of years.

A snooze after that and who knows what the evening will bring.

Morning All Snow is falling here but it is so wet underfoot that it isn't lying yet - and I hope it doesn't! I detest the stuff!

Salt destined for the roads in UK and other countries.

No snow here, clear blue sky, warm in the sun but cold out of it, there is a very chilly wind at times today.

Nothing planned here other than some ironing, just a "take things as they come" sort of day.

Surprisingly no snow here either, a heavy frost over night and very cold but the sky looks heavy,Taking a shrub out of the garden as its that bin today.Enjoy the green wet stuff today as no doubt we will have the white stuff tomorrow.

Good morning fellow members sunny but very cold here today.

I was up most of the night with tummy ache and was scared I had picked up Noro Virus in the hospital on Thursday. I have had some porridge but still feel pretty fragile.

Oh well the ironing awaits so better get it out of the way.
