13

Knowing how superstitious some people are concerning the number 13, I wonder if people contemplating buying a new car this year will put off buying one until September when the number plate will display 63, instead of 13 as it will do in March?

Re: 13

I'm not in the least bit superstitious so it wouldn't worry me at all if the No. 13 occurred in anything I did.

Re: 13

Mind you, those who aren't superstitious might get a good deal in March.

Re: 13

I lived in a house number 13 as a child, until the council, in their wisdom, decided to eliminate it and gave us the number 15.

What happened to the house that was already no 15? Did you all move up one.

Re: 13

The number 13 does not bother me at all! As I don't have a car - don't drive, won't drive Even living in a house numbered 13 wouldn't bother me. I even walk under ladders Although I do know a few of my friends don't like 13!!

Superstition is a load of old baloney, and nothing bad has ever happened to me regarding the number 13 or walking under ladders....touch wood....

Re: 13

A lot of people are superstitious but won't admit it, I am and I'm not ashamed of it, neither the wife or me open umbrella's in the house or walk under ladders, and if we were drivers we would never buy a car with number 13 in it, cars are dodgy enough without tempting fate so I can see a lot of folks skipping the number 13, bargains or not.
Here's another bad luck bonus, a woman whistling in the house, verrry dodgy indeed.
